Careers

What is CEIAG?
CEIAG is an acronym for Careers Education, Information, Advice, and Guidance. Careers lessons are delivered at Elmley Dray in order to help prepare young people for life beyond education by giving them the knowledge, skills, and confidence they need to make informed decisions about their future.

Careers Education:Involves teaching students about a variety of different career paths, the skills and qualifications needed, and the world of work.

Careers Information:Providing access to reliable and up-to-date information about various job opportunities, sectors, and educational pathways.

Careers Advice: Offering professional, impartial advice in order to help young people understand their own strengths and interests and how they relate to potential career options.

Careers Guidance:Providing clear instructions, support, and mentorship to help students develop realistic and achievable plans for their next steps.
