Community

Our school is proud to be an active part of the community. We encourage our pupils to understand the importance of helping others and making a positive difference, both locally and further afield.

Throughout the year, pupils and staff take part in local litter picks, helping to keep our community clean and welcoming, and we are proud to be involved with the Sheppey Light Railway, supporting and celebrating an important part of our local heritage.

As a school, we also regularly raise money for a range of charities, including Children in Need and Comic Relief, helping to support those in need across the UK and beyond. In addition, we take part in the Shoebox Appeal with House of Opportunity, putting together thoughtful gifts to bring joy to children and families who may be facing difficult circumstances.

Through these activities, we aim to develop kindness, compassion, responsibility and a strong sense of community in all our pupils.
