- Diagnosed with autism or display autistic traits
- Experiencing sensory processing differences
- Living with social, emotional, and mental health needs such as anxiety
- Disengaged from mainstream education due to low attendance or negative experiences
School Day
08:15 - 08:30 - Morning life skills (optional session where students practise independence by preparing a healthy snack)
08:30 - 15:00 - School day
We Understand
Many of the children and young people we meet tell us they feel anxious, misunderstood, and unable to cope, often with low self-esteem and a sense of disconnection from education.
We Think Differently
Elmley Dray School offers an individualised and empowering education, designed to celebrate every learner’s unique strengths. We help our children and young people:
- Build confidence in who they are
- Recognise their individuality as something to be proud of
- Feel valued as part of a supportive, inclusive, and growing community
Our Commitment
We are passionate about the holistic development of every child and young person. As a compassionate, values-driven, and innovative school, we challenge ourselves and our learners to be the very best they can be, every single day.
Our highly skilled and dedicated team works tirelessly to remove barriers to learning, nurture potential, and inspire ambition. We understand that thinking differently is a strength, and we celebrate it.
We Listen
When shaping our school, we didn’t just rely on professionals, we listened carefully to the voices of children, young people, and their families.
We know that the right environment makes all the difference; that’s why Elmley Dray School is designed to be welcoming, inclusive, and supportive, giving every learner the opportunity to thrive, achieve, and succeed.
